Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 °F (204 °C).
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place asparagus in a crowded, but even layer in the center of prepared baking sheet; drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on garlic. Season with salt and pepper and toss well to coat. Spread into an single layer and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake 10-15 minutes, depending on spear thickness and desired tenderness. Transfer to serving platter and sprinkle with more parmesan cheese if desired; serve.
