The key to a perfect Greek Salad Dressing is to keep it simple, just a bit of red wine vinegar, earthy oregano, good olive oil and some salt and pepper. Greek Salad is a delicious medley of sweet and tangy, crunchy and creamy ingredients and needs very little to accentuate the flavors and bring them all together.
I love to use this Greek salad dressing on classic Greek salads and embellished versions of it like Greek Farro Salad and Greek Potato Salad. But it’s a wonderful staple salad dressing too for simple green salads, pasta salads and even as a dip for raw vegetables or a drizzle for vegetables that you’ve roasted.
When I show you how easy it is to make, I bet it will become a go-to dressing in your house just as it is in ours. (And don’t miss my homemade Caesar Dressing, this honey sweetened Balsamic Vinaigrette, this Strawberry Vinaigrette, my Sesame Ginger Dressing, Parmesan Vinaigrette or this Champagne Vinaigrette.)
How to Make Greek Salad Dressing
Step 1: Whisk red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
